Purpose and duration of data management:
- The host manages the data of hotel guests in order to ensure their accommodation reservation and adequate care. The aim is also to ensure verifiability and accommodation services, as well as compliance with the current legal environment for taxation and data (statistics) services.
- The data management lasts until the purpose defined in point 2.1 exists. - The data manager only requests, stores and manages the guests data to the minimum extent necessary for the purpose of the data management, taking into account the applicable laws and general principles on the right to information self-determination and freedom of information.
Data management rights of the hotel guests:
- Information request: the guest checking in to the guest house can request information about the management of their data, the legal basis, purpose and method of data management, and in the case of transmission of personal data, the quality of the data controller of a third party, the reason and purpose of the data transmission, the method and duration of use, and the activities related to data management. The information can be requested via the e-mail address of the Data Controller, to which the Data Controller is obliged to provide appropriate information as soon as possible, but within a maximum of 5 days.
- Corrections can be made at the hotel guest's request, or if the Data Controller can creditably prove the incorrectness of the data provided by the guest. In both cases, the Data Controller is obliged to notify the Hotel Guest immediately about the time, content and method of the correction.
- Deletion: The data controller is obliged to delete the data of the Hotel guest when the purpose and conditions of data management cease, or when the deadline prescribed by law for data storage expires, and to notify the guest of this by e-mail.
- Objection: You can directly contact the Data Controller or the Data Controller's superior body with an objection regarding the handling of hotel guest data. The data manager will do everything in order to assess the complaint impartially and to eliminate any illegal situation.
Commitment:
- The data manager undertakes to ensure the security of the data, to prevent their destruction, unauthorized use or alteration.
- The data controller ensures that the processed data do not fall into the hands of unauthorized third parties, that they are not disclosed, forwarded, modified or deleted.
- Data manager does not collect, manage and store sensitive data. If the Guest voluntarily shares sensitive personal data (special eating habits, diet, health status, disability) with the Data Controller in order to provide the appropriate services, the Data Controller will not record, store, or forward it to third parties in any form.
- Pursuant to the right to self-determination of information, if the Guest informs his surroundings of his location, etc., on social media or anywhere else, the Hotel Guest is responsible for the proper handling of this data; The data controller does not have a data management obligation for data voluntarily shared in these media.
